100th Day of School

It's a long-standing tradition in our Kindergarten classes to celebrate the 100th Day of School, which was today.

Parents and caregivers visited for the first hour of the day to participate in projects, such as making necklaces with 100 pieces or counting out 100 pretzels, cheeries and crackers for a snack pack.

Leading up to the 100th Day of School, the Kindergarteners do all kinds of projects around the number 100, which lends itself nicely to counting, adding and multiplication practice, but also to examining the passage of time.

Buddies from the day school came to visit as well to help count out snacks or make chains with 100 links.
